This spell allows you to connect to the Maginet using a device without a dedicated Maginet connection. For the duration of the spell, the device allows you to interact with the Maginet, even if it is not charged. This connection is limited; the Maginet is an immersive experience in which one feels as if they are physically present. This spell allows one to simply interact with the Maginet, but not be within it. Checks on the Maginet receive a -5, however, the user also receives a +5 bonus against being Mindscrapped, and suffers no consequences if forcibly disconnected.

This spell can also be cast on a device that IS capable of connecting to the Maginet. This is typically the case for those who wish to use the device without a power source. This also grants the user a +2 competence bonus against spells cast through the Maginet, but does not confer any of the other bonuses and drawbacks of using this spell, as the user is now fully immersed in the Maginet.
