Defense Racial Traits

Scaled Skin: The skin of tieflings provides some energy resistance, but is also as hard as armor. Choose one of the following energy types: acid, cold, electricity, or fire. The tiefling with this trait gains resistance 5 + 1/2 their level in the chosen energy type and also gains a +1 natural armor bonus to Defense. This bonus increases by +1 at 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th level.

Arcane Absorption: Tieflings gain a Spell Resistance equal to their level. Magical Racial Traits

Infernal Legacy: At first level, Tieflings can cast Thaumaturgy at will as a spell-like ability. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast Hellish Rebuke once a day as a spell-like ability. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the Darkness spell once a day as a spell-like ability. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these Spells. The caster level equals the tiefling’s class level. If you are able to cast spells, you may add these spells to your list of known spells.
